As well as being a writer and online business consultant, I also have my own jewellery brand.   Chimerique Jewellery was my first business venture and a great training ground for marketing, advertising and sales techniques.

Since all work and no play makes Jill a dull girl I have kept up this creative pursuit, selling to a select number of exclusive boutiques and galleries across the UK.

Each piece is designed and handmade by me in Scotland, and I often test out new promotional ideas with this brand before extending advice to clients.  My jewellery has been featured in several national publications and websites, and my passion and experience in this area is what led me to develop and write for Wedding Fashion Files (owned by Angela Neal Media) and The Jewelry Report (owned by KLAT Media).

Through those blogs I have networked with hundreds of other designers, artists and writers.  It is a great example of how you can use your personal interests to increase your professional network… especially within social media.
